Poste

This position will be responsible for the implementation of new products within Billing and IT Group. The main focus will be to ensure that new products are successfully managed, implemented and deliver the solution on time as committed and described in the PCD.

 

1.       MAIN FUNCTIONS

 

·       Management the implementation of multiple new products request from Vodacom Business

·       Co-ordination and interface with other Divisions / Departments

·       Liaise with other department for products implementation

·       Analyze product concept description and raise a technical assessment to direct the implementation

·       Participate on NPD meetings

·       Provide on weekly basis a report on different products for implementation

·       Ensure that products under your responsibility are well defined and implemented with regard to agreed PCD or Memo.

·       Ensure that the client receives adequate relevant feedback with regard to current objectives and future needs.

·       Liaise with all relevant role-players.

·       Remain updated with current developments and changes in field of specialty.

·       Take full responsibility for controlling the classic elements of each implementation step, i.e. TIA, execution, testing, communications, and close out.

·       Schedule meetings for all stakeholders and follow up

·       Distribute those minutes to the attendees.

·       Follow up on due dates in between meetings to ensure tasks are performed based on committed dates.

·       To draft, circulate the close out once UAT successful.

·       To draft and circulate project plans, as well as perform tracking of progress.

·       To manage the user acceptance testing cycle.

·       To file all products related documentation in both hard and soft copy as required

 

2.       EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE

 

·       Bachelor IT or Engineering degree / diploma

·       Two years minimum experience in Product Management / and three in telecoms will be desirable

·       Knowledge and experience of GSM systems

·       Preferable will be someone who knows English very well

·       Able to manage and coordinate all activities associated with the conceptualization, initiation, development, installation and implementation of products in a telecoms environment.
