JOB PURPOSE
To support the Warehouse Manager in ensuring effective inventory management, asset control, and warehouse compliance across Vodacom DRC warehouse Maluku and Operated by Third-Party Logistics Providers (3PLS).
1. Warehouse Operations Oversight
- Monitor daily warehouse activities performed by the 3PL.
- Ensure compliance with Vodacom warehouse processes and policies.
- Follow up on pending Goods Receipts, Goods Issues, returns, and stock transfers.
2. Inventory Management & Control
- Monitor inventory accuracy between physical stock and SAP/NSS records.
- Participate in cycle counts and annual stock audits.
- Investigate stock discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
3. Goods Receipt Monitoring
- Ensure all delivered materials are inspected and receipted in SAP/NSS within SLA.
- Verify availability of POs, Delivery Notes, Packing Lists and Inspection Reports.
4. Material Issuance & Dispatch Control
- Monitor stock movements, dispatches and returns.
- Verify supporting documents for all material movements.
5. SAP/NSS Monitoring
- Monitor execution of warehouse transactions by the 3PL.
- Support reconciliation of physical and system stock.
6. Audit & Compliance
- Support internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with asset management policies.
7. Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field. 2-3 years’ experience in warehouse, logistics or telecom operations. SAP/NSS knowledge preferred.
